Hi There, I’m Katie!

I have been photographing women for the past 10 years. Specializing in photography that celebrates womanhood, my goal is to create modern imagery that makes you feel like you’re in Vogue magazine.

Countless women have told me that they almost didn't do a maternity shoot because they thought it would be too "cheesy." But here at La Rousse Photo, we are anti-cheesy! Instead you’ll feel classy, timeless, and chic.

I’m also pretty obsessed with fashion and love the styling aspect of photography. If you’re stuck on what to wear, have no fear…I’ve got you covered with a wardrobe closet full of specially curated pieces.

Every session begins with a complimentary consultation, so we can get to know more about your vision and begin bringing it to life! In order to make this portrait experience seamless and stress-free, hair & makeup and wardrobe is provided.

We recommend booking your shoot between 30 and 35 weeks.

The $299 session fee holds your date and locks in a spot. This includes hair & makeup, 4 outfits, and a 1.5 hour shoot.

If it's your first time at a studio photo shoot, don't worry! I'm here to guide you every step of the way, ensuring you feel comfortable, beautiful, and confident. Together, we'll capture stunning images that showcase your best features.

Do you provide wardrobe?

ANSWER

Our studio offers a curated wardrobe collection, featuring silk fabrics for draping and a variety offitted dresses, blazers, robes, and tops. Most women will bring some of their own clothing and borrow from our closet as well. This way, we can create looks that are unique to you and your style. A styling consultation is included so we can discuss your wardrobe options in detail.

Can my significant other join?

ANSWER

Yes! There is no additional cost involved. About half of the women I photograph do a solo shoot,and the other half include their partner. Usually spouses join in for 1 out of the 4 looks. They are welcome to hang at the studio while

Where are you located?

ANSWER

Our studio is on the east side of Los Angeles in Elysian Park. For reference, we are close to Dodger Stadium. Just steps from the LA river, you’ll find a walking path with restaurants and coffee shops. I am happy to provide recommendations if you’d like to do a little exploring after your shoot...you’ll be looking fabulous with hair & makeup!

Are payment plans available?

ANSWER

I understand this experience is an investment for many. If you’d like to utilize a payment plan, Ioffer options through Affirm - where you can split payments over 6, 12, or 18 months. Typically the 6-month plan is no-interest. If you prefer to pay in full at the time of your photo reveal appointment, I accept all major credit cards or Zelle.
