Dijon is the capital of the Burgundy region in France. It was a short, one hour drive from our Airbnb spot in Châtillon-sur-Seine.
The drive there was rather scenic: forests with patches of leftover snow and a tiny standalone tree against a big cloudy sky. I pulled over for photos any chance I got, and since I was in the driver’s seat my mom had to go along with it. She’s a good sport though.
Once we arrived, we found a cozy cafe for tea and pastries. We wandered the quiet town for hours, stumbling upon dijon mustard shops and spinning carousels.
Next up, the countryside!
